Congrats to Jim and Jeff on winning their 2nd Championship in The Red Zone. It didn't occur to me until last weekend that Run N Guns and Horror returned to the Finals for a rematch from the 2008 season when Gub won it all. That has never happened in the league's 12 year history where the 2 finalists from one season returned for a rematch the next season. I know its happened in The Red Zone 2 in its 1st and 2nd year. Can Gub and Jim/Jeff make it back for 3?

Championship Playoffs Greg gets to hold on to the claim as the only back to back Champion. Next season, Run N Guns will have to make it back to the Finals to even have a shot at matching that.

Horror vs Run N Guns - It was a tough loss for Gub. He could have won by 3 if he started his optimum lineup so that probably bummed him out.

Wave Raiders vs Buck Nekked - No contest for Roel. My bench would've beaten him though.

Toilet Bowl Playoffs Frank comes out of no where to post the 2nd highest score of the week to take the Toilet Bowl Championship. Who was the highest? It wasn't Jim and his 106 pts. It was Rob with his 124 pt performance that didn't mean anything.

Run N Guns (106) at Horror (86)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 28, 2009) In a week 16 The Red Zone - 2009 matchup, Run N Guns beat a strong Horror team by a score of 106 to 86, silencing a partisan crowd of 68,089.

Adrian Peterson

Run N Guns were led to their 20 point victory by a 23 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 94 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 43 receiving yards. With this performance, Peterson was the number 3 ranked running back for week 16. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Jerome Harrison, who beat the Oakland Raiders defense for 148 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD.

"We feel fortunate," Run N Guns coach Jim Raginia, Jeff Combs said.

Horror were helped out in a losing cause by a 19 point effort from Frank Gore, who snuck past the Detroit Lions defense for 71 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 81 receiving yards. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Andre Johnson, who snuck past the Miami Dolphins defense for 71 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"We dug ourselves a deep hole," Horror coach Dave Guibord said.

Compounding the issue, Horror could have scored 109 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Dave Guibord left key players like Matt Ryan and his corresponding 22 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Run N Guns to 11-2, and drops Horror to a record of 9-4.

Coming up in week 17, the 4-9 High Flying Fish are at Run N Guns, where Run N Guns are an early 28.9-point favorite.
